FWIW I think that email is legit, i.e. not from a Nigerian scammer or the like. However, if you wanted to find the definition of nightmare buyer, I think that bloke adequately encapsulates it. I know how it is, having had my C43 on the market before and no end of crazy emails. Most I replied to, but some are just geeks with way too much time on their hands - it looks like this guy falls comfortably into that camp. His questions aren't unreasonable, just the way he has gone about it is totally irritating. I'd ignore!

I would reply to him saying, that the price to him has has just gone up by £50, due to the amount of time you've just spent reading his long winded, other the top email!

I wouldn't sell to him on principle. He sounds like the type of buyer who gets back in touch when he finds out the interior boot lamp isn't working!!

The car has NO rust and NO dents, one of very few W202's in excellent condition left

i would say my 202 is in better shape if not the same, i paid 1500 for my interior 100% custom handmade, full respray(proper , costing 2k) and no rust, i wouldent dare ask for near 4k you can get a c36 for that?? lol plus mine has 75k on it.

i hope you get the money your after tho mate
