Dont take it the wrong way, I am just speaking from experience with what i have seen of "bodykitted cars" which look great outdide, but from underneath and then are shocking when you look at how they are installed. However, I assume you will be using a professional outfit who will do a top job.

I nearly sh*t myself at the last Vmax when my undertray and inner wing ripped off at 190mph....due to one fastener on the undertray being missing!!!! I was lucky it was at Vmax ......if that had been on the Autobahn and it came off I could have caused a major accident!!!!
What also shocked me was how unstable the car immediately went, with them missing and I think i was fortunate the bonnet did not come up with the additional force pushing on it from underneath.

So my opinion, and i may be completely wrong....but if your going to stick a bodykit on that has not come as OEM (and tested in wind tunnels etc) then you run the risk of it coming off.
Thats what forums are about having an opinion...

And if the bits blow off at 220mph on the Autobahn i would think the only person you will be telling is the big fell upstairs.

I agree that the kits need to be installed properly and I would say that once that is done they should be able to handle the speeds. My first high speed run out will be at vmax in March so I should find out if anything will come off then.

Think I'll wait till after Vmax in March before I purchase a body kit although like you say, if properly installed it should make the car more aerodynamic!

Chris, you should get the Brabus Rocket bumper. It could cost as much as the whole kit from Poland but will look the business and be fully functional at 365.7km/h.

Yep, it's rare I see a kit that looks 'right' but that definitely ticks the box. Keep the ics coming please, very interested.
