Mercedes CLK w209
Hi everyone I need an information
and i have a Mercedes CLK w209 220 CDI GRAND EDITION base version. I do not have UHI interface, CDC or command. I retrofit COMMAND and CDC but still not UHI interface.
I have retrofitted Command NTG2 and CDC.
The installer do the codification so I can use the CDC and see in the odometric display the navigation menu.
But there is a very big problem for me: I CAN’T SEE THE TRACK INFO ON MY ODOMETRIC DISPLAY! I retrofit the command only to see the track info but they are regular displaied only on the command display but in the odometric display they are not reproduced…
In Italy with APS20 you see in odometric display:

“Track xx”

In English way… because APS20 can’t see the info from CDC

In Italy with COMMAND NTG2 you see in odometric display:

“BRANO xx”

If the MP3 do not have a tag or

“xxxx xxxx xxx” (information)

If there are the correct mp3 tag on the CD

What I see in odometric display now is the write “Brano xx” so my display know that there is a COMMAND on board but display the general information like the mp3 tag is wrong….
Command NTG2 correctly display the name of the mp3 track and the info but on display are passed only the generic “Brano xx” …

What I can do for display the correct MP3 info? I suppose that there are two coding to du: one is for enable navigation menu and another for see the correct mp3 information… What I can do?

Another problem is that: I still can modified the hour and minute via odometric display menu… In command version the hour and minute are setted automatically via GPS throught NTG2.
So I suppose che coding was not did very well…
My installer told me that the display for command version is different from the display for APS20 version but I do not belive that… It is very strange…
What I can do?
Many thabks
