I wish to keep my beloved 300TE 4-Matic pristine over the winter months. She is now on SORN and consigned to my detached block built garage. This is a large double garage with a concrete floor, pit & a tiled pitched roof. It has two rooms at the rear and a large roof space. It is a...

I know you're probably all thinking "what an idiot" but I only ask this because my w205 does some insane and fast dry steering when it's auto parking. I'm a persistent dry steerer due to habit so am wondering whether it is harmful or not. Thanks!
Hello!
Yesterday I very foolishly decided to test the accuracy of the fuel computer in my CLK270 CDI. It turns out it is very accurate, and when it says you have 0 miles to empty, you do!
With assistance from work colleagues, I was dragged off the road and heckled all the way to...

I've had a lazy thermostat for a while now I thought it was about time I changed it. I've recently done a coolant change so (a) I didn't want to waste any and (b) I just wanted to see if it was possible.
This requires a vacuum fluid extractor.
If you've used yours for oil changes rinse it out...
My windscreen wiper motor sems to be at its last days and only works when the windscreen is wet, that helps the wiper overcome the friction to move.Is this a worn out motor or can the mechanism be the problem?
Hi Guy's,

I have got all visible water out of the car with the aqua vacuum cleaner and got as much as I can out of the carpets (these are foam backed though and are still holding...
 My 1991 190E 2.6L (W201 M103) has no fuel at the injectors. A fuel pressure test at the fuel distributor shows very high pressures +100 psi (8 bar). Since the fuel distributor works on a differential pressure scheme could this high pressure be the cause? It looks like the pressure...
