Hi All I've just purchased a new gear knob for my c32 as the orginal was a chipped and worn out. Is they a method to removing and installing said knobs? Or is it just a case of using reasonable force :crazy: to remove and install . Thanks Swoz

Hi all, I'm very fond of the old style shift knob as on W124 and earlier. I wanna transfer the knob plus the base (yoke) onto the W202 RHD, but wonder if they will fit and fuction okay, since the slotted gate are of the opposite in shape. OR do I need to use the whole assembly from early...

how o how the hell to you get a gear knob off of a c36 . i tried for almost an hour this arvo.. no joy help. also i have sorced a gear knob and steering wheel they guy wants 250 and says they are very clean, do you think this is too much or a bargain???

Sorry for the quality of the pic. How does one remove the gearknob from the shaft? There appears to be three parts to the locking setup. The bottom tapered black thing I have loose. There is now a black piece locked to the top white piece by four small pegs. Any ideas how to remove please?
