Hi
Just about to change front discs and pads on my 2007 E220 estate and I've noticed there is only cabling on drivers side for brake wear indicator, is this normal as Haynes manual seems to indicate they should be on both sides.
Thanks in advance

Hi All,
Engine has randomly cut out twice now and reading errors tell me its the crank position sensor (code 052). in order to solve the problem that I've had twice now, it was a simple case of disconnecting and reconnecting the battery.
So, is it a simple case of changing the sensor or is...
For the second time my CLK 320 W209 2003 model has cut out. It restarted later, first time I had to wait about 15 minutes, second time about 10 mins.
Feelings are this is the crank position sensor.
I don't have much spare time at the weekend but my plan was to replace the sensor.
Do you...

I think I have a problem with one of the ABS/Speed sensors. ESP inoperative and cruise control not working.
If I replace the sensors will I still need to get the fault erased or will this happen automatically?
Guys
I recently had an issue of VERY violent "kangarooing" when I floored it, this caused an error code to be logged "Exhaust backpressure sensor ..............too low".
I had the can in at the local Indy today, they said the exhaust back pressure sensor is in the top of the turbo.
As...
I have an ML250 Bluetec which I purchased in May 2012. It has done 46,000 miles.
In March 2015 I had it in for a service. I noticed immediately that there was a constant smell of fuel. After a few days I spotted large puddles of fuel where the car had been parked. I took the car back in 5 days...
Hi,
I'm having trouble with the coolant temperature reading on my CLC. It's stickin at 90, even when the engine is cold.
I'm going to replace the sensor as this seems logical, does anyone have the location of this sensor on the engine?

Hi,
Recently got a CPS code P2034 and another code P20A2 on my w211 e55.
P20A2 when ZAS is turned off, some cylinder exhaust valve not work.;GERMANY
Does anybody know if the second code is caused by the faulty CPS or is it a different problem altogether?
Anyone know the best place for one? When I search ebay, they all come up just under the chassis code and year, but are they all the same? Even the diesels have the same pedal/sensor? Or are they just being listed wrong?
Thanks
I have a 2006 CLK 280 Conv.

Hi I've just replaced my o2 sensor. Do I need to tell the ecu it's had a new one via star? Don't think so but know you have to with new airfilters! This is how I know o2 was duff when I had it on star having airfilters reset.
Is this the first signs that the crankshaft position sensor is going? The car had been driven and was parked for 1 hour, on return, when I tried to start it, all I got was the engine turning over. It's the first time it's ever occurred. I quickly turned off the engine and it started as normal...
