I have an ML 270 cdi 03 model. Engine fan comes on but the car does not want to start. engine does not turn over all lights on dashboard comes on. it low mileage serviced and well looked after. Any ideas? never heard of this problem.

What is the wisdom of turning off Air Conditioning during an English winter? Does fuel consumption decrease with the AC off? What is the point of AC during the winter? Is it best to let the AC components 'rest' for a while or is it better to leave the system in auto throughout the year?

sometimes when turning right the indicator won't stay on , i have the steering column fully extended towards me and have noticed there is quite a lot of movement in it . you can twist it and that temporarily cures the problem , is there a way to secure it so it doesn't move ? thanks mike .
