W124 - Rear Wash wipe issues.

The rear wash-wipe on my w124 estate only has an intermittent setting, is this a relay fault? If so which one? I have already replaced the N10 and my Haynes manual doesn't give any clues. Happy new Year.

Shell £6.99 wax and wash drive through

Tried this last week and despite typical Manchester weather for a week my car is still shiny and clean. If you are lazy like me I can recommend this. I know these other products that you put on yourself will produce better results but I think the Shell drive-through is pretty good.

    It doesn't wash

So I ‘m there at the dealership, again, with regard to my CLK alloy wheels. They have been refurbished three times in total all within the last year. The last time they were done was the back end of November 2008. The reason they were refurbished instead simply providing new wheels on warranty...

    hid's and wash wipes

Thinking of getting hid's and front wash wipes for my '94 c280. Would i be correct in thinking that it was only the last of the facelift cars fitted with these? Are the lights plug and play or what all will i need? The wash wipes are only to satisfy myself in the looks department. :thumb:

    One wash in two weeks....

As the title suggests, my first two weeks as a Merc owner have not been all that great but only time will tell right? Week one should have consisted of getting used to the park brake etc but instead it ended with my parktronic dying (red blocks) and a 6" nail on one of my new rear tyres and...

    A-Class Rear Wash Wipe

Sorry for another query so quickly. My wash wipe is obviously disconnected somewhere in the tailgate - something which is supposed to be a fairly common problem. Water runs down the inside of the tailgate and onto the floor instead of through the nozzle. Can't find any info on t'internet and...

    203 estate rear wash wipe

Got a daft question. Can anyone tell me whether the rear wash wipe nozzles on said car should rotate with the blade or remain static? I'm sure that they were previously static, i.e. always pointing roughly 'upwards' but they now seem to rotate with the blade spraying water everywhere but...

    Waterless wash!

I'd heard rumours about this stuff. So, as my company hack is due to go back and it's never been cleaned since I got it, not that bad really, it was only in May this year :p I bought some with regards to using it my new car. With some trepidation I set about using it on the Astra. Hell's teeth...

Hi, I have standard grey seats and carpets... and now some stains as a added bonus. I don't need those stains any more and LOVE to get rid of them! How would you remove stains (chocolate and coffee, dirt)? Should I pay for full proper valet? Or can I just spend one afternoon and do this by...

    headlamp wash wipe

Having replaced the headlamp wiper blades the other day, got me thinking - when did they stop fitting them on cars and why. I seem to remember every big car had them as an option during the 80's whereas now none seem to have it. ..... so have aerodynamics and lense coatings got better or were...

Not sure what you guys use on your alloy wheels but after a wash and polish I find

this stuff really works well Just polish your wheels with a chemical polish not a wax. Then apply this stuff and let dry for 15 mins and then wipe off. I do 2 coats and it really helps keep the wheels clean and makes washing the wheels very easy Its about £12 a tub but it lasts for years.
