Hi guys, I have an annoying vibration from the airbox when the engine is running, which goes away if you press on the top of the box, so today I took off the lid to see if there is a rubber seal of something missing. Around the edge of the underside of the lid, there is a groove, but not sure if there should be a gasket there. The groove is rather large for the top of the lower airbox, so it's possible a gasket is missing.
Anyway, I screwed the lid back on, all screws present, and now the bloody EML is on!! Whats going on now? I haven't had a chance to plug in my engine diagnostic tool yet, had to take the car round to the bodyshop to get the rusted arches and bumper scrapes sorted.
I've already spent 700 quid on this thing for the RWC, now THIS?? I surely hope this isn't going to be another Merc lemon of a money pit.
