500SEC, Thinking of a bid, what are the wheels worth?

I'm thinking of a bid on this 126. I wouldn't keep the wheels, though.
Are they an easy sell-on, and if so, what would they make, are they desirable?
They're too young for me!
Any thoughts on the car?

The car is georgeus with the wheels.Selling them it might not be easy as they don`t fit many cars but I think they look lovely

I think they are lorinser wheels and the best looking ones for the car, like the standard but wider. Very rare, but better stay on the car as it looks great as it is.

What makes that car look so good is the fact that the body-styling is 100% Lorinser....it looks like it just rolled out of Lorinser's factory.

Changing the wheels would take that all away, at which point the car becomes yet another SEC with some spoilers and fancy wheels.

Unless that engine has been tweaked somehow deffo not 300bhp. The 560 engine without a cat gives 300bhp. A Gen 2 500 C126 will give 265bhp (190kw I think) if it doesn't have a cat & approx 245bhp (180kw) if it does.

That looks lovely, provided it hasn't got the usual rear parcel shelf rot. Shame it's not a 560 though.
