A Northerners Journey Into The Big Smoke

Well did you see big Ben???

Nah we didn't. Saw Borough Markets though - Magic place. Ventured across the river and saw St Pauls and Spanish Place, also a monument to the Great Fire of London - Which I think started in Pudding Lane, of course they don't do pudding in London anymore its called a sweet. That says it all

No milk though.

I'm introducing the W210 to it's new life tomorrow. We start with a journey into the big smoke....

It'll fit right in. This is mine last year in Grenville Street:

What you went too? Did the whole village go on the trip?

I am a southerner born and bread but i own alot of property up north and the northerns really are far nicer and more helpful than southerners. However i assume the poverty thing is tongue in cheek as i can buy 5 properties up north for the price of one in the south and can drive miles without seeing a decent car!!

The whole thing was tongue in cheek just touched one Southerns sensibility is all.

Hook, line and sinker to Lee.

Oh...was that tongue in cheek? ;)

Isn't big Ben in soho?

Yeah that's right, just south of the Watford gap.

Anyway glad you had such a nice visit. Send me a pm next time you are popping down and I'll take you for some pie, mash and liqueur.
In harrow of course

Just shows how cheap leasing is...

As SPX pointed out, Londoners don't seem to be able to afford a gallon of fuel for their lease cars.

Yes, but Queen Elizabeth tower with the clock and the bell called Big Ben is in Westminster...who are you thinking of?

I've heard what these liberal London types get up to in the dens of sin and I've got no interest in finding out who this 'big Ben' is.

Ben Dover is a Landoner (so I'm told) ;)

With the price of housing in London i am not surprised:crazy:

That's very kind of you but I'm more of a jellied eel kind of guy.

Must be. Anywhere else it would be liquor. Unless you're aiming to get him drunk...
