This had my wife and me in stitches. I have often wondered what that gesture meant.

I lived in Harrow for a while and I'd say the outer reaches of north and west London are about as wild as it gets, lots of yooves in modified cars with big speakers. Also prime territory for a certain type of Mercedes driver.

As SPX pointed out, Londoners don't seem to be able to afford a gallon of fuel for their lease cars.

They don't even price petrol up in litres.

They sell it in millilitres, such is their lack of cash.

I hear that if you venture to the far side of the Holland Park roundabout, you'll find the long-established pie and mash shop that was featured in Quadrophenia. Whether you'd make it back to civilisation in one piece is another matter...

It was never officially called that. Up until 12th September it was just known as Clock Tower.
