Hello

The brake pad wear warning light has appeared on the dash of my 2004 (53) S Class 320 (petrol).

My mechanic friend has advised me all pads need replacing.

I've looked around on the Internet (eBay, etc).

Can anyone recommend what pads & sensors I need, where to buy at a cheap price, and will the light reset itself once the new sensors are fitted (or does it need a diagnostics unit hooked up).

Also, how long should it take to repalce all pads+sensors+reset warning light.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated! :bannana:

Hi

For brake pads you want genuine MB or Pagid from ECP, they also sell the warning wires

The wear indicator will reset itself asking as no other faults & new sensors fitted correctly

As a guide time to replace is 2 hours, but depends on tools, equipement at hand and hoping you don't run into any issues, seized bolts, slide pins, sticky calliper, pads seized in. Etc
