Mika, why do you care what other people say about the C63? or owners of AMGs?

Just ignore stupid comments and alike or you'll just be a target for keyboard warriors who just take the p*ss.

Do you like the car? Yes! to hell what everyone else thinks!

I'm sitting here suffering Dancing on Ice...what's a bod to do?

Retire to the ManCave with a glass of Shiraz and watch the sparks fly on the old 'puter.

I did think "door open and sh1t blowing in" was uncalled for but the dog mess on pavements was mentioned so touche.

I've had a PCP deal on a Rover 75 (years ago) when I should have been driving round in a Polo on HP. I enjoyed that very much, there was an opportunity and I took it. Was I sh1t that blew in when I got that PCP? Nah. If I get a C63 on a PCP am I sh1t that blew in. Nah. Did anyone call me sh1t when I had my Rover 75, not to my face - no. Though I know I had several metaphoric knife wounds to the back.

I will turn up at Bluewater one day and meet with the C63ers. Whether they bought cash or PCP it makes no odds to me. Its the marque not the engine/trim level that works for me.

Stands by for incoming.

It is a forum with the line "Bringing together Mercedes Enthusiasts".

Its this we all need to take heed of so we call ALL enjoy this place.

perhaps , i withdraw my reference to you, apologies

What I meant at post #20 is that when these rows start (on whatever the subject) the only winners are those who look in enjoying the developing aggro.

It's more than "perhaps" as I'm sure you'll come to see over time. If you can find a single diss comment about AMG's from me, past, present or future, I'll eat my Mercedes hat :thumb:.

Looks like six of one, half a dozen of another. Lifes too short to lose sleep over insults or banter. If anybody wants to have a rant about R107 owners please feel free to do so , we are not overly sensitive

nomoney

its not six of one , its not a dig at vehicles

it is insulting behavior aimed at individuals who drive certain vehicles

i have already recd PMs from several people who are reporting Nick for his post

thank you to those people

How come all the C63 boys are from Kent?

Ah:

"Medway, situated between London and Canterbury, is possibly one of the worst infested areas of chavs i have ever seen

Their method of transport has graduated slowly from public transport, such as trains and buses, to motorised scooters and finally cars, what are collectively known as “chav-mobiles”. These cars are generally considered by experts the worst cars in the entire world. Given a burberry paint job, stupid looking spoilers and just generally fake interiors, the “chav-mobile” has no predators as only fellow chavs wouldwish to steal such a horrible looking car.

The mating habits are various and dangerous in many circumstances. The female will choose a mate that has the most “respec’” amongst the pack. Getting this “respec’” includes getting drunk, picking a fight with an innocent passer by in the street and bragging in general to his fellow males."

Medway – A natural history of the Chav | Chavtowns - Britain's worst places to live!

Refund Sean's money for that steering wheel.

Nick,
I'm not from Kent, I live in Shropshire and if you had made this comment about my neck of the woods I would be feeling extremely offended as must Mika must be.

Wesley.

I very much enjoyed the AMG trackday at Goodwood, all AMG drivers were super people, despite me turning up in a BMW (and driving slowly, except when spinning). So I very much hope that you keep coming here.

Well I am coming in here. Very entertaining thy the way. Saved me from dancing on Ice.

Ironically, I live in Chatham, the nicer end.

Not offended in any way with the Chav Quote. It's scarily accurate actually.

There is a high 'Chav Populous' in chatham. Most live in harmony with their peers, some are just scumbags but they all love their Mercs.

Can't you all just play nicely together?

Cmon Mr Admins

lets see a ban for Nick hes a disgrace so say the PM's i received

I'd be happy to stay away for an equal period of time if that provides balance

shall we say one calendar month....

i think its fair to say there have been a huge number of insults, snide remarks, digs etc etc made regarding AMGs and specifically C63's all in good humour...i dont think !

You don't like the negative posts about C63 and some of the ways that said cars are financed, so you start a thread to try and troll your detractors into joining in, and then moan about the negativity??

2 things to consider:

1 Members with C43/C55s/AMGs generally never caused this sort of trouble.

2 If someone posts something on a forum you don't like, either ignore them, debate with them, or go and watch the telly (or go and do some donuts in Bluewaters car park)

HTH

I have an AMG, I don't have any car finance, I don't live in Kent, I don't feel people are getting at me or my AMG.

Am I just too thick skinned?

Nice post Nick
it means nothing
youve shown your true colours
take a self imposed ban why dont you?

Just as well I don't moderate this forum...............you'd be long gone, along with your chief sidekick.

The above quote is a disgusting insult to the OP. You should be ashamed of yourself :ban:

How about this one from a fellow C63 owner on a previous discussion ?

No, just that the haters are cvnts - easily mistaken.

It was posted at 11.11 pm , so i guess the poster could be forgiven having undoubtedly consumed a few pints of Stella , but it's pretty insulting wouldn't you agree ?

For the record , i'd love a C63 , but can't afford one , i'm too poor.

In any society, and this forum is a society, there will always be an expectation of what's reasonable in interaction between members, but by its very nature a forum will generally result in differing opinions, some more strongly held and expressed than others.
Personally I think freedom of speech and thought a very important part of life, support the notion that others have a right to their opinion and a right to express it irrespective if I like or agree with it,provided it doesn't harm anyone beyond offending their feelings or sensibilities.
I have to confess to having reacted to the expressed views of others and made the odd comment which is aimed at them personally, but have always regretted it afterwards.
In this case, where the thread is about a vehicle the forum really should lighten up a little IMO.
There're many things going on in our world today worthy of strong reaction, in this case the reaction is over the top, the old adage of "stick and stones .......etc etc could perhaps do with an airing!

No. He's a regular with bad language and accusations. A few others aren't far behind.

Let's think, what have we had?

Cvnts
W@nkers
jealous
haters
nobs
no balls
can't afford it
insinuated threats of violence

it goes on.
