That's a decent spec. On the white cars, the night package is a 'must have' in my opinion. I think it makes the car look fantastic. Chalk and cheese versus not having it :thumb:

I looked into leasing the e63 i went to dealers to have a test drive which was all good. The only thing that put me off was the looks. Every time i looked at the the car i just kept thinking that it is ugly, it just didnt look like 80k worth of motor.. so after a major rethink decided to go down the remap and pulley route with my existing E55k and invest the money i was going to pay monthly into another property.. after all leasing is all well and good but i like actually owning the car im driving not hiring it.. no offence to anyone.

Just remember that with a PCP you may be able to take advantage of equity in the GMFV versus sale price. Might be not much but for my Defender 90 it was £13000.

English please sir !

At the end (in fact at any time) of the PCP you can sell the car yourself and keep any money the car is worth more than the settlement figure. Useful as a deposit on the next often.

Contract/Lease deals are purely hand back and walk away. Any remaining value in the car belongs to the lease company.

My Defender 90 had a settlement figure after 3 years of £12000.... but I sold it for £25000.... so I get to keep the £13000 difference.

Of course all this is factored into the cost etc.

Thats insane! In fact I am sitting here now wondering why I shouldn't order today. Think I might contact them and ask about the additional for the S model. My pea sized brain has trouble understaning how MB makes money from such deals.

Cheers
Simon

It works like this:

1. MB want to get models on the road and feed used stock
2. They discount them to 3rd parties by about £20K+ (only to lease firms, not jo public)
3. This means they can be leased out for cheap because the actual depreciation is vastly reduced due to the low initial cost
4. Then they end up in MB dealerships at 2 years old on sale for only £10K less than the ACTUAL purchase price

BUT these mega deals are not available from dealerships because they can't on one hand be showing them on sale for £75,000+ with PCP etc for well over £1000 per month and on the other hand say or you can lease it for £500 / month sirr..... wouldn't sit very well would it?

S model was £250-300/month EXTRA last summer as MB weren't discounting the S premium (£10,000), so you were basically paying for it all over 2 years, with only a small increase in their residual.

I got my non-S from Niche leasing, great service and they lease direct from import at MBUK Corporate in London, not via a 3rd party franchised dealer like a lot of lease firms.

Estate (£20 cheaper than saloon to lease despite higher list price) for £449+VAT on 6+23 (last summer when deals were crazy)

I added a few options that took it to £470/m + VAT.

Then it was delayed by 4 months, so they added £1000 of options for free... :)

Have you seen any similar deals recently?.
I'm still trying to find something half decent for E63 or E63S

Thanks
Mo

I would suggest that anyone thinking of getting a new or nearly new E63 ONLY looks at the leasing route for financing. I was thinking about getting out of my lease early so got some bids on my car.
Most dealers were reluctant to even bid, one Mercedes dealer came back to me and said they just don't sell and he would not give me more than £38k. So I am keeping the car, but it did get me thinking how pleased I am that I have a PCP on the car. The GFV in Septemeber next year is £44k. That is more than most dealers would offer now!

I would be looking at a huge loss had I of bought it with cash!

Cheers

Gerry

Anyone know of similar lease/pcp deals on an E63 saloon? Or maybe even a C63?
Cheers

E63 saloon leases are still around for £530 / month plus vat on 9+23 deals, estates are cheaper to lease despite listing higher.

Not as good as the £440/m they were in 2013 though....(what I paid)

£200/m more for an S.

The E63 and the M5 tend to track each other, this quarter they've both come down to the best they've been for a while.

Hoping for another drop next quarter, time to order an M5 for when the E63 goes back :)
