Hi guys... Happy Monday!!

Just after some advice really as I have a CLC220 Sport with an AMG kit on but wanted to know if there were any specific extras you would buy to make it look and possibly sound / run 'more AMG' if that makes any sense. I've only had it two weeks but basically, I googled it before I had it and expected little things like AMG door sills which is didn't come with (Talk about labelling a fake... Polished poo comes to mind! Although I don't think my car is poo AMG or not!! ;) ) AMG mats which again, it didn't come with so it's kind of escalated from there from small interior extras now to maybe mechanically so any hints, tips or must do's I'd be grateful to know of. Also where to purchase or enquire about these extras as I know Merc would sting me on the bum so any websites, contacts etc would be helpful too.

Thanks x :)

Far cheaper and quicker to sell it and buy an AMG :D

Why, yes.
Not a bad attempt at some ribbing, Dhard :thumb:

You know, you really should come to some meets.
I'm sure there's every chance you might be a nice enough guy.
Granted, I'm giving you a healthy benefit of the doubt here.

The way I see it, you're at a crossroads.
Go left, and you'll cement yourself to a reputation of being an unwelcome troll.
Turn right, and you have every chance of fitting in and having people enjoy your company.

Food for thought, Dhard, my old chum.

:thumb:

If Dan (dhard) turns up at a meet I'll be the first person to give him a slap across the chops
Arrogant, insulting and absolutely no knowledge of what people write, just plain stupid.

For all those "Leave the kid alone" types....save your breath, to name people and slate them without even knowing them or of them is asking for trouble

I hope he turns up at MSL on the weekend

lol!!!

That's certainly the other side of the coin, yes.

:D

Can we turn the testosterone levels down a bit boys.

..... back to the thread.

Personally Blondie (and this is rich coming from me!), I wouldn't do too much to your car based on the fact you said yourself, you'll likely change it in a year for an SLK. A few bits here and there probably won't hurt as long as you know what you spend you won't get back, and is therefore eating into your SLK budget ;)

In other news...

The mere suggestions that Dairy Milk is better than Lindt  Some of you need to have a word with yourselves!

And Rash, you are very kind to Mr Hard although even I will admit to having spotted (it does take some effort!) the odd post which indicates there could be a reasonable chap under there (or am I getting confused??). I note a total ignorance of your recommendations though

Suggesting... I am telling you. Did you know there is a glass and a half of milk (equivalent to) in every half pound!! (227g).

I think the 70s classic purple foil models will be fondly remembered as the best, but I guess you can't beat the economy and convenience of the model 150g handy pack. And now with all the niche models like "Crunchie Bits" and "Marvellous Creations" being sold along side the classic of "Fruit 'n' Nut" (RIP Frank Muir) and "Bournville" - home of the Cadbury Empire - I think there truly is a model for every one. Long gone are the days of the 90s when there was basically only four types. Today's chocolate range has to cater for everyone from the young biter, the family size sharer, to the exotic exclusive tastes. Of course if your visit your local "dealer" e.g. Tesco, the range can be quite confusing and might lead to a poor selection. I have tired quizzing the assistants about the various features of each bar but to be honest they aren't much help and just try and sell you what is in stock or on offer. Truthfully, if its on offer its because it doesn't sell. Of course you hear stories some picky customers have tried to return chocolate they have tried already. Sad stories of not enough nuts or there was a finger nail in it are lost on me, i have had nothing but years of excellent, smooth milky enjoyment. But i am smug enough to afford 400g bars. I did hear a story a nice young girl wanted a CDM (to us aficionados) but her shop assistant boyfriend could only afford a Freddo Frog! Yes he looks cute old Freddo, and it might say CDM on the wrapper, but it is a real CDM... no matter how your try to mash it up! ;)

Lindt make shiny balls in four colours.

Alert! We've got another one here.

Strip him down, put him in a bright white room and jetwash him until he sees sense :D

Lindt don't need to make such variety when they've got the core product so right.

How a thread can go right off course from just an innocent earlier comment!
