AMG Performance Studio - C63 interior

Love it, love it, love it!!!

Anyone who spends that much time, effort and money on making a car their own gets my vote!!

Now, that looks stunning:cool: Hats off to you for as it has totally transformed the interior. Have a :bannana:

I know all about dowdy black interiors as my 2.3-16 is black, black and more black LOL

As for the plastic film, my white 944 turbo had it and it had turned a nasty shade of cream/yellow:eek: But the car was 22 years old so you have a few years to go yet before that happens:D

Very nice Palmball, you have a very personal and individual car there that is worth keeping for a few years - until your old enough for a Jag with a leather dash as standard :p

Stone film - if your a motorway warrior its an acceptable compromise, if your not then just respray before you sell it ?

Very nice car and I really like the interior - I agree that it should be a little more special as standard but it is quite purposeful - drove one a week or two ago at MB World!! What an engine!

That is a seriously cool car and the interior is very impressive. I didn't even know you could get that leve of personalisation.

Thanks for all the kind comments gents!

OK so where can I get those pins and gearknob then?

The dash looks stunning!

S

Mmmm...the pins I think you can get from you MB dealer.

The gearknob - thats a different matter. I believe they are not officially for sale so it's a direct to AMG job like I did I'm afraid and see if they'll make you one. If you want their contact details, PM me.

Yes, I'll be keeping this one for a while....but years, as in the plural??? Not so sure about that! ;)

Yes, I do a lot of motorway driving so the film is almost a must-have....nobody tells you before you have it fitted that they stain so easily!! I guess it's only noticeable on white cars though

did i read somewhere that a little white spirit gets anything off that protective film ?

all over the gear knob, but i have keyless on the SL55

loving the dash, was badly let down when i jumped in the ML63 and the dash was plastic...i thought all AMG's came with leather? but it must of been stopped after the SL55?

Fantastic change, must be lovely owning what is probably a unique car that you had so much input into. Can't wait to see it :thumb:

You now have a customs file - going back to Germany any time soon? :P

*wanders off to MB dealer to price up door pins*

Cheers - you get to see it tomorrow if you're about ;)

I love the new interior... that is how it should leave the factory...absolute class.

A lot!!

I didn't get any change out of £3k but that did include the gearknob and door pins. Blimey...it was almost a bargain then :o

I know I could have got this done in the UK for half the price with say, D:Class (who you'll see advertise in most Mercedes magazines) but it was such a major job stripping the dash on a brand new car that I really only trusted the work to the guys who do it all the time....hence I paid up and went to AMG!

In my eyes, it was worth every penny :)

Stunning......thats all I can say....lovely...

Considering the entire dash is removed I don't think that's excessive at all.

Plus you have the piece of mind that if anything should go a little haywire in the future the "Well you should have had it trimmed at the factory" get out isn't avaiable.

£3k is a really good price for all that work.
