Had Goodwood send me all the current, as of today, available, There are some in March and quite a few in November and December, I have not listed them for the obvious reasons, can do if wished, but list April to August,,,,,

Being that the 13th is a Saturday Mika couldn't you do then? I'm with you mate what ever you want to do but I thought the Saturday would be perfect.

Benjy, (is your mate Nigel up for this date as well), I too would be up for a couple of days, I probaly will individually anyway, but in the this scheme of things, this organisation of this 1 day, could and probaly will be a nightmare, but the more people involved the worst it is, and I talk very very much from experience, you just gotta let everyone voice up, and then go with the majority, its the only way, and if lacking numbers after this process, we have to outsource, after that, if its failed, all we can say is we tried. If you think getting the date together is hard work, wait till the monies need to be put together, dearyme!!, but its very early days, with just the 3 of you responding so far, thanks for the early reponse by the way, I am personally hopeful of an event being successfully being stage, be something to look forward to next year.

Yes mate me and Nige are both up for what ever days are good for everyone and if there is another on the cards then again we would both be up for that too. Ricky you are doing a great job mate and is very much appreciated putting yourself out to do this, you can only offer and advice people mate and if everyone that is genuine wants to apply then thats great which I am sure most on here that have shown interest are really up for this.

29/04 is perfect, only 4 months away, it is Bank Holiday and I doubt there will be many going for vacation.

13/08 is good as it is the only Saturday on the list, but 8 loooong months to wait!

In any case, I will go with majority.

Mika, Your right mate, these dates go fast, but we need a date before we pay. But in this instance we do have a little bit of a cushion, Goodwood booking office is open till this coming Friday, and then closed till the 4th of Jan, I need to call them that day and book or this will drag on and everyone will lose momentum. Yes there may well be a couple of these dates gone this week, and possibly a date we select, but given this may be unlikly at this time of year, I am thinking we have the holiday period to get everyone who is on board to voice up, then debate, and pick a date. To get 25 people to pay before they know they want, or can go on a dediacated date is not going to work, we wont get the comitment and monies in. I have spoken to GW about how we supply them with the monies, and I have options I /they prefer, and will propose later for everyones agreement, or not!, but think rightly or wrongly, lets get a date first, I know theres aleast 8-10 people out there that will be up for this whatever, so theres a strong base, lets hear the prefrence dates from the others, and see how many of us are really up for this, hope this ok with everyone.

Just in case you're waiting for all names from the previous list to voice their preferred dates, I thought I'd step in and say I'm happy to take a back seat, since I'm a non-MB person these days. If I'm available the date the others suggest, excellent, then please put me down as no.26 to allow MB cars first.

Sadly, 29th April is out for me - I'm 99% sure I will be overseas.

I'd rather avoid August if possible due to clashes with holidays but anything else is possible with enough notice.

i have no idea what im doing next year and probley wont know until the end of jan .
so if its possible ricky id like to be a reserve if some one drop out at the final hurdle then maybe i could take there spot .
i wouldnt want to let anyone down and take a place if i cant be 100% that i can make it .

Hey guys,

I reckon any date in July or August would be good for me.

The weather is my concern, so I would rather go in the later/ summer months.

I should be able to take any day off work if needed, so the day is not too much of a concern.

However, there are a few days in each month that I do need to be in work for, so I will definately confirm my attendance when a likely/ confirmed date is suggested.

I'm happy to pay the deposit, but if it ends up pi$$ing on the day, I probably won't make it.

Summer rain is acceptable enough, but I can't imagine it'll be that enjoyable on track.
