I just wanted to share with you the great service that I had from Alan Robertson in Hove, East Sussex today. My newly aquired 230e was running like a piece of c**p, so I took it in for a full service. I've had my other two mercs serviced by him and the experience was once again a true delight.
He got the car sorted completely, and it's now running like a dream.
He also advised of a few very minor things that I might want to look at in the future, but didn't need to be done just yet (we've all been to garages who do work that isn't really necessary!) and was happy to take me around the car, showing me what had been done in detail, even though it was raining and he was getting wet!
I then mentioned an electric window problem that had slipped my mind before dropping the car off and he sat with me and suggested some ways that I might be able to find the root of the problem.
An altogether honest, trustworthy guy, who knows his stuff with Mercedes old and new ...no wonder he calls himself The Car Surgeon!
