Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

Just looking at E55 plates....Does E55 UNT read E55 Unit to anyone :-)

Not really..... I can see where you are coming from as you have mentioned it but I wouldn't think that if i saw it as a plate on a car.

A black Discovery with the number plate NA55EEM (no spaces at all) on Bury Old Road coming out of Manchester tonight - a policeman was having a heated discussion with the driver and I think I saw him point at the number plate....

Keep seeing a Volvo with 1 CSF near me

Finally, a corsa or something with 911 JNR!!

Whenever i see the letters ' UNT ' it always makes me think of something rude .... ;)

R?? SLK - unfortunately it was on a CLK, oh well.

My favourite was in Aberdeen, eventually sold because of the attention: K11 NKY - I think KI NKY exists somewhere, add a nought to the price for that one.

Mike

Oh I forgot, yesterday I saw a brilliant number plate, no idea what it was but it was on an Aston V8 Vantage Coupe - I guess any number would be good on that (it was a standard plate by the way, not cherished)

Quite a few Police Officers have had words with the driver of this car. Have to have words with the DVLA to get it taken off him. Some people won't be told.

saw 000 010 on a blue CLK hard top today. never seen just numbers like that before, looked cool

Do it , do it , do it !!

Destined for a Cayman that one.

For some reason your post reminded me of a plate I used to see around here all the time on a base model Ford Fiesta.

A911 CAB....

I often wondered if the old dear driving it had a clue about how much money that plate could bring. Should have made her an offer for the car. ;)

My Dad got a new plate the other day for a new car.... JO 07 OND looks really good - its a Aston Vantage :)

GR55 AYT (Great 55?) on a CLK with AMG kit in Sutton Coldfield yesterday.

It wasn't spaced dodgy or anything, and I suspect it was just assigned to the car when new - the owner was probably none the wiser!! I don't think it was a CLK55, more likely a CLK220 with the kit (so many about these days).

Parked next door was a very nice black ML63 AMG. Gorgeous.

6ASP (Gasp?) on a Black E63 AMG in Walsall this morning. Again, gorgeous!!

I have to say I find it quite disingenuous of the DVLA to sell cherished plates the way they do, pricing them because of what they can spell out, though it is illegal to display them on the car in this way. Don't know why I should be surprised, is there anything more illogical than the current format, er '55' for the second half of 2005/2006 for example, and what relevance does the place of first registration have? They must have burnt the midnight oil to come up with these  . Even the Irish have a more logical system...............

R7SKY on a all black Remus porsche 4x4 (windows/wheels,everything) outside the Belfry golf club yesterday

It Resembled R1SKY as the top of the severn was shortened

 :D Oi,
That's my pitch.

agent provocateur
a person who intentionally encourages people to do something illegal so that they can be caught.
