Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

Tried them still nothing showing up strange.I have seen it though it used to sit on the Gallowgate at the art deco building across from where Graham Square car market used to be.

Or maybe cant afford insurance lol

MY 850i has alpina wheels and badges reg number H49pno i know i know but ment to say Alpina

Could be 1 luv or i luv or 1 LOV or i LOV

1 LOV is (or was) on a black Bentley Arnage
1 LUV is last listed as gracing a red Citroën Saxo

BTW, saw 66 LOV on a white Silver Shadow (or derivative) in Belgravia last week.

No trace of 11 UGH. However, if it is currently void, there's a good chance that the DVLA will include it in a future auction.

Can you tell me how you check these numbers coz I would love to check 129 DXD ( Austin Cambridge) our first family car as a kid my brother and I used to sit on the full sliding sunroof and feel the wind in our hair, wouldn't be allowed to do that these days.

There are several sites out there that use data from the DVLA database to provide basic details.

I tend to use http://www.tyre-shopper.co.uk/ts/search/VRMSearch.aspx, as it allows you to search by just entering the registration and it doesn't care whether they're taxed/insured/sorn'd/etc. It also often returns data that doesn't show up elsewhere, which suggests they are archiving older datasets rather than overwriting them. For instance, it returns my own cars' details whether I search on their original registrations or their private plates.

Word of warning, though: it does also seem to contain some frankly bonkers info. For instance, WV 1 is shown as being on a "5-door Austin Mini 1000 hathcback". It's actually on a Volvo V50...

No sign of 129 DXD, by the way.

Thats interesting i didn't know that cheers.

yip your right about bonkers info <<19 inch wheels 255 front 285 rears it,s stating 16 inch all round with 235,s
