Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

Could have been there actually, there were huge crowds outside that corner shop late afternoon because they were turning on the christmas lights so on the way out of central London I decided to dive around the back around Belgrave Sq and up Pont Street.

Back OT, there's a yellow (private) taxi in DHL livery, with the number plate HI DHL which is often seen parked up at the DHL by Hatton Cross.

I saw Peter Jones' Mayback at Brooklands today '8PDJ'

The most impressive plate I have ever seen was on a Honda Civic (or similar non descript car, at least 10 years old) based out of Hook Heath (near Woking, Surrey) and simply it was:

H1

You would have seen the new Zeppelin there too if it was still parked next to it, although to be fair you could be forgiven for not noticing the difference :D

I seem to remember hearing that Theo Fajitas bought that plate for Peter Jones. Anyone remember, Top Gear possibly?

I used to see THE 60S on an old Mini and now a new Mini, it belongs to Kenny Jones (The Who) wife. It looked better on her old classic mini now it just looks like a chav car.

just seen Howard's post, we were on the m25 last week and another van went past us.

Being in no way racist, the two lads in it were, lets say, very dark skinned, very very dark.
Reg no ? WA55 UPP, we found it funny.....

Saw SME11Y and C12 UST on the M2 this morning

Speaking of kisses, I went passed a local guitar shop last week, and the car on the forecourt was reg'd K155 AXE

how can the registration have been removed when the car has no MOT ? Presumeably it was taken off before the last MOT ran out and no replacement plates have ever been ordered??

XAL150N on a Range Rover Sport, between East Cowes and Southampton today.

5 UKY (SUKY) on a Black Range Rover in Oadby this afternoon.

Just bought my first Merc.

It's a 2001 430 CLK, 30,000 miles, absolutely spotless, maintained very well indeed...and my reg is M 430 CLK.

Needless to say, i'm very happy with it!

Welcome to the forum, and congrats on your purchase.

With the number 430 not being offered under the DVLA Select scheme, it seems you have quite a rare combination. A430 CLK (which is also on a CLK) was sold at auction for £1900 in 2002, while the only other two "430 CLK" numbers listed are still on their original cars: a Renault 21 (D...) and Nissan 300ZX (G...) respectively.

What does the "CC" relate to?

I saw this old bird last week.

What does the "CC" relate to? :dk:
