As with the MG above, another case of the registration mark being far more valuable than the car.
Also in the area, I sometimes see NI CED.

Perhaps we should blank out all the number plates...
Streetview has reportedly already prompted a few domestics/divorces for the same reason.

You might also see him driving HS 231. Just been to Wikipedia to see if I could work out what its significance might be. No luck, but I did find out that he has contributed to various Bowie tracks and also played the piano introduction to Morning Has Broken. And I thought he was just a (grumpy old) Yes man...
EDIT: Looks like HS 231 could be on a vintage Rolls Royce, so it may be incidental.
