Nice plate, naughty spacing.
Not sure whether it's changed hands recently, but it was part of a family collection that also included M 4, 2 C, 9 C, 70 C, CC 6, DC 6, DC 88, DHC 1 (the owner's initials), DHC 11, DHC 30, JC 8, JM 5, JM 47 and JM 95.

Presumably a golfer? Wild guess - Colin Montgomery?
It was orignally sold by the DVLA in 1997 for £2900. 60 LF went for just £700 more, albeit five years previously.

F1XER today on Black Range Rover Sport in Manchester city centre.
Instead of the chrome letters RANGE ROVER it had BESPOKE.
