Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

He is still to catch 8 SKY 8....

Ah, perhaps that's what this stands for:

I can just see the Dirty Digger in that!

Belongs to an Auditer as well!

The plate is actually RUD1T and the car is a very famous car too.

Why is it famous?

Personally if I were getting one of those id have gone for the RS1800 instead as its much rarer and faster too!

not got a photo, but saw B114RAT on a silver merc the other day.

Now that may not look like much, but it makes the name BHARAT which is a popular asian name.

Ironically, and refreshingly, he had not put screws and bits to make it look like a H and A.

I cant think of any other combination to make that name. Great plate (if your name is BHARAT of course)

Ive just bought a similar plate. Will post it here when the retention document comes :)

this is Cyril's Porsche GT whatever they are called. He's an old boy, and drives the car HARD. Just like it was meant to be driven. What a dude!

Perhaps he needs to change the spelling of his name to match...:D

I guess he missed out on CYR 1L, which went to a chap from Chigwell for £20,000 in 1994 (who also has C1 RYL).

at the roundabout??

Round by the corner. ;)

OT. I've met Rick Wakeman (and on another occasion John Anderson) and they are both thoroughly nice people. Wakeman's hands are extraordinarily large though.

Strangely, I have also seen later today - a couple of blocks away - S555 SHY.

I quite often see P111 SHY, which is on a black R170 SLK.

Then, I saw today - just one street away from each other - P9 DEF and P10 DEF.

It's not unusual for people to buy sets of plates from the DVLA, so these could well belong to same person or family.

Royal Albert Hall.
