Noted on a W204 Estate at the end of my road late morning:

Very difficult to make out underneath the numbers are the words keep it up.

I think this makes the number plates unlawful, but I doubt our very own black rat would be stopping them for that reason.

The plate 'HA 51 LEG' was in the news years ago.

It was then owned by a young guy who lost a leg while he was pillion on his mates motorbike.

He sued the car driver that hit the bike and received a huge payout. He had the plate on a Porsche and IIRC he bought a couple of fish and chip shops.

He said it was a great plate to have and people did a double take when he got out the Porsche and noticed he had a fake leg.
