Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

C 11 on one of those Bentley Bouncycastles in the Southside of Glasgow this afternoon.

This has to be one of the best

Agree - I think those kind of plates which need no altering are the best.

I wonder how much that one would cost for the right to display.

I think it rather limits your future choice of car though so I've never liked car-specific plates because of that.

True. It wouldn't surprise me if it's owned by Audi UK

I wonder what they would use it for though.

Manufacturers seem to have less obvious plates in adverts from what I've seen - like 911 HUL for Porsche.

I would have thought 911 POR or POR 911 would be more appropriate (unless HUL has significance?).

Others just use random dateless ones (which look right when reversed - I guess so they can use the advert on LHD cars without having to re-record...).

Only for show I guess.. Press cars parked at head office, press events, shows etc.

I agree with the marketing side where most adverts seem to use the european cars and plates, some even have the disclaimer at the bottom saying 'UK spec may differ' lol

AUD 1 has been mentioned on here a few times, last I saw it it was on an A7.

Saw a Rolls Royce quite a few years back with Paul Daniels at the wheel and Debbie Magee by his side and the reg. number was... MAG1C
