Looks like a done deal and if the business plan is as mentioned in the article above, I think it's great news!
I drove a Nissan LEAF at Motorexpo yesterday and (range anxieties aside) if this is the future for motoring, I'm all for it. The car was smooth, incredibly quiet and very powerful but most of all, felt like a .....car. A very well made, solid normal car.
The future is looking good!
If they can get the range up a bit, and the price down a bit, I`ll be interested in a "plug in"
Can`t help thinking though, about what George Osbourne will do when his fossil fuel income plummets.
