Help needed
1.Automatic front passenger airbag deactivation
When I put my sons car booster seat on front seat, it deactivates the airbag.
Any idea how to override this and leave airbag activated all the time.

2.
What exactly is Pre-entry climate control via key?
I've read the manual and I'm not getting it.

3.
When setting the departure time on the Pre-entry climate control at time of departure, do I set the time I want the heating to come on or do I set the time that I will be setting off. Also how long before does the heating come on, do I set this or is it automatic?

Not judging here, but shouldn’t that seat be in the back seat of the car? I think its by law here in Norway.

Starts the heater/cooler for 5 minutes after opening the car.

1. No idea, maybe it's not deemed safe to have a booster airbag combo. (Then again I could be wrong). I'd ask Mercedes.

2. By opening the car with the key fob (and then locking again if you so wish), it lets you activate the preheat function to defrost Windows, warm up the heated seats. This is for if you forget to set the pre heat with the dash (or app if Ye have it). Think it only works if you have above 10-15% charge left in the battery though. You also have to turn it on once in the settings menu (same menu as changing the auto door lock and ambient lighting etc).

3. Set it for when you wish to depart and it'll come on either 10 or 15 mins before that time, assuming that is the car has sufficient charge in the battery.

1. I thought it was only rear facing seats that required deactivation as it could launch the seat when deployed.

I think that any front facing seat should be fine?, especially just boosters though you would probably need to ensure the seat is not too close to the airbag.

As I have understood this, its about the height to the kids head that matters.
The airbag comes in 300 kmph and can do severe damage.
Do some google on the mater, don’t take my word for it. To important not to du proper investigation.

I think is to do with weight. I notice how my 4 year old sitting in the front in a booster seat and its inactive. Though if she leans forward and I guess puts more weight on the bottom seat cushion then it becomes active.

After the upgrade, go to the total mileage screen between speedo and rev counter and it should be in bottom right hand corner. This is the only screen where mine displays external temp....

Buy a subscription at Pocket GPS World - SatNavs | GPS | Speed Cameras They have a file specifically for Comand - you load the file to an SD card and then leave the card in having loaded the camera file as POI's. It is all much simpler than it seems and they have an installation guide at

You can select whether to show just fixed cameras or mobiles as well. You can tell Comand whether to give an audio warning which also mutes the music - the audio warning is a bit too short of notice if you are exceeding the limit by much ! They update fairly regularly and it really does fully integrate into Comand. If you go to France where camera location devices are illegal you just take the SD card out and you are then legal.

Would this work without command i have got the premium not premuim plus. So i think audio 20?

Go here - they seem to have cracked it for Map Pilot but you need to read to the bottom regarding not cloning the card and ensuring you don't overwrite files- good luck

It activates from the settings menu from the steering wheel as above. When on it shows as a little orange light on the dash above one of the flick switches. I think when the engine is off you can activate it manually with that switch too.

Got my confirmed manufacturing slot today... 25th June (18 weeks)... Time to start counting down (slightly annoying that my dad ordered his new Mitsubishi Phev yesterday is expecting delivery first week in April). What is it with the long c350e lead times? I thought they'd started getting better. Oh well, will have to try and be patient!
