I presume your car is not the MY 2016 variant ?

I also will have to charge over path, a reason why I ordered the 8 meter cable. Have you read my post about the local authority / office of low emissions scheme to provide on street charging points ?

dan123, update from journey home. Think I've been looking at low/no charge journeys through rose tinted glasses!
17 miles, only 13% charge at start. 6 miles to motorway 10% charge left. On motorway had to use Charge to get it up to 30% charge over 9 miles, then E mode for final 2 miles, 14% charge left at end. Total mpg just 34.4!!!! 4 miles driven on electric.
I'm not convinced Charge mode is very efficient, though Hybird would not have got me up to enough charge to drive last part on electric only.
Never thought I'd be such a geek about this, but lovin trying to find the most economic way of driving it. Certainly highlights why I need to charge up at work as 34.4 is not great, however offset with journey up its about 65mpg.

I am UK based ordered through UK main dealer, I have been very lucky! Currently the only one to arrive at my dealer despite numerous orders.

Lower left part of the centre screen is exactly where the temp should appear, but in every Trip screen it only shows kph. Sat with MB dealer tech rep in the car for good 20mins and no idea of how to get it showing. Currently waiting on an answer from MB. The car is incredibly technical with readings for everything imaginable, so I would be surprised if they overlook something essential.

Mine is the same, no outside temp, it tells you how to change it in the manual, unfortunately this is not allowed on UK cars. It will only sho the speed in kph.

The U.K. restriction is to have the temperature shown permanently in all Trip windows. I understand that on all other c class models the temperature appears when you have the large speedo showing.

Saxon6, thanks for your 2 replies....after the 1st 1 I was getting pretty excited!....down to Earth with a bump after the second one.

My typical day will be 70 miles starting with a full charge and no further charges....if I can average 40 I'll be happy. Looks like this may not be achievable.

I'm not sure where the cars from Germany enter the UK (Harwich?) but I do 30 miles on the M25 twice a day (Kent - Surrey). Noticed a huge increase in car transporters carrying shiny new Mercs this week. While looking out for a car with the same exterior spec than the one I'm waiting for I have spotted a few 350e's - difficult so see exactly what's in the middle of the transporter but the ones at the back are easy

I've done 1000 miles in mine in a week since I picked it up. Obviously I've had a play with it and have enjoyed the power but I've averaged 39mpg which given I don't get much chance to change it is pretty good. I haven't got wall charger at home because I move in December. I've tried electric highway although I'm not sure if we can use rapid charger network?

My mate has the 300h and gets 55mpg. I think with proper charging and decent motorway mileage I should be achieving 60-65mpg.

Don't get me wrong all the talk about charge cables and mpg is useful stuff but all I seem to care about right now is looking at pics of 350e's as mine isn't due until early December, if I am lucky! Come on folks make me smile some more with some pics of your special beasts, especially if anyone has a brilliant blue saloon!

I don't get mine til end of January, it seems like an age away.

If it's any consolation my production date has moved back from tomorrow, (25th Sept), to 5th of October.

Every time I get close to production date I get excited and then get knocked back, I'm trying to steel myself to wait more patiently but I'm still like a rather large kid waiting for Crimbo. (hope my car arrives before that does!)
