Excellent news and congratulations 350e :D

I was pleased the other day when I saw that John Lewis have Christmas trees and decorations on sale, meaning we are getting ever closer to my delivery month of December. Tragic how I have been wishing this year away.

350e

I've been reading this thread from day one.

Good luck for tomorrow pal. I hope your new MB exceeds all your expectations.

Let's us know how you get on + pics galore.

Enjoy. Ant

Who else is close to delivery?

Thank all for your kind comments.
Me, I am off to bed to pass the next few hours and then ...............:D

Perhaps I will have just one more Glenfiddich to help me pass the time ;)

Got my VIN number today so vehicle is in production.

Suspect soon we could have a rather large convoy of Brilliant Blue vehicles lol.

Forum convoy photo op needed! Good luck tomorrow 350e :)

Any idea by the way how much a set of floor mats cost? Was surprised mine never came with any

Also..here are some more photos for you C350e pics :)

Just like what I'm expecting. Thanks for that. Beats just reading about government grants and people whining about the rights and wrongs of charging or not

That's the way to do it, car park to yourself :)

Trying to decide if to cancel and go for a used V60 PHEV - 4 months old and 20 grand off list price.

After 4 months still not got a build date and dealer now says that their allocation is not expected until January at the earliest so delivery possibly nit until March 2016 - another 6 months!!! As this is a Company Car this is costing me an extra £ 300.00 in tax to keep what I have.

Demo'd a V60 and not bad so decisions decisons

Not driven one, but been out for a ride and it's certainly rapid. Nice car, for certain.

Where is this ? It's funny they only put in house sockets and not EV chargers

That's on the ground floor in Westfield (White City) - I think that have a mix of 3 pin and fast chargers on the 2nd floor, as well as a whole load of Tesla Superchargers. I always end up on the ground floor though as there's more choice of bays and this row of 3 pin electric bays.

On the 2nd floor, the green electric bays are often ICE'd whereas the red Tesla ones are always free - maybe it's the psychology of the colours with green being welcoming to all!

These ground floor ones only have the 3 pin sockets, but they do the trick - plus they must have put a phone mast in the car park as I could still check all the info via Mercedes Me when I was wandering around London. There was a Twizy and another C-Class parked nearby when I got back, a non-electric version, tut tut. That's another reason for the 8 metre cables perhaps, you can stretch them around to prove you're actually plugging in.
