I tend not to have my heating or aircon on during the day, so when it comes to pre-heating am I right in thinking that it chooses the last setting, or is it the last temperature??
Source London changing their charging structure to £4/month + 3.6p/minute from the end of the year. I assume that means it's now significantly cheaper to charge at home!
Internet hotspot thingy.

Are you charging via the 3 pin "brick" or via a dedicated 16a charge point at home?I have a question about the pre-entry climate control warm up.
I've been using it the last couple of days and whilst it's very good, it takes quite a bit of juice out of my charge. My car is plugged in whilst this is happening, so I had hoped there wouldn't be much difference. This morning it was 5 degrees and my charge was down to 86% before I set off.
Has anyone found a sweet spot where the car is warmed up, but the charge is not impacted so badly? e.g. setting the departure time ten minutes earlier than you actually want?
The 3 pin at max will suffice for current climate. Once we get decent frost, it may be worth setting the departure time for 10 to 15 mins before you're actually going to leave. That way it will fully defrost and, as it runs for a further 5 mins after the time you set, should have chance to get a bit more charge back in again! That's interesting. Thank you. I am using the brick on half power.
I hadn't thought about that. I'll try it on full power and see how I go.
I didn't really want to fit a 16 amp charger if I could avoid it.
This is copied off the Ecotricity website:I don't think they are. This is on the Ikea website:
"We understand that for Ecotricity to continue to invest in Electric Vehicle Charging technology and infrastructure, they have made the decision to start charging all customers for the electricity used at their charging points across the country, including those located on IKEA sites. We’re currently in the process of investigating with Ecotricity how we can best support our electric vehicle driving customers going forward. We’ll update you as soon as we have something further to share."
Another quick question for you all --- Again, this may seem a dumb question to some of you out there, but you only know what you know and I dont know this.
I tried the Parking assist, which lasted all of 1.5 seconds before my blood pressure went up to ridiculous levels and I had to cancel it. The reason being, does tha car brake itself or do I have to brake. I know the steering wheel turns, but does it stop itself or do I have to brake for it?
I really didn't like the feeling of not being in control - god help me with driverless cars. I just dont think I will ever want one. But will try the parking assist again - with your advice.
I control the speed and just let it roll slowly using the brake while parking, it always seems like it is going to wipe it's nose on the car in front. The 360 camera is a fantastic bit of kit.
I was slightly confused by the other posts, it does the steering but I do the pedals?
I like the parking assist but find it doesn't park close enough to the curb outside my house....I like to have it very close as we get vans and people turning near it.
