c43 to c55 AMG conversion

Hi, i bought Jacks c55 off him. I was at vmax today in it and recorded on a race logic vbox 0-60 4.9 and top speed 160.0mph. You'll have a very fast car when you're done! Needs an LSD though. And get one of prestige car services decat pipes. Sounds awesome!

Nicks got a CLK55 engine and box for sale at the moment.

You painted your valve covers black just like mine :thumb: I recommend you remove the paint from the ribbing under the coil packs to ensure a good earth contact.

What sort of mileage has the engine done ? Maybe interested :thumb:

To make a fast C55 you need a high miler. 120+ is ideal. The more miles they have on the faster they are!!

Well if that's what you're really after then unfortunately, you'll have to wait till the engines got 250-300K on the clock.

That's good news, but i would still do exactly what you have done to your engine if i get one minimum :thumb:

Good luck with engine change Robin, though judging by all of your preparation you shouldn't need it bud.
Incidently I got those manifolds in the post Monday so i,ll be looking forward to having them fitted in the next few weeks.
