hey guys, hope you are all well, sorry I've not posted in here for a while
I could really do with some help pls
can anyone tell me if the bonnet vents are fitted under the bonnet or do they drop in from the top? I'd be really grateful if you guys could help me out by putting some close up pics of the vents and the black trim that they sit in pls,

Hi Lee, I don't have any pics but I installed Mode Carbon vents in my 507 and they install from the top. I used a high temp rated 3m tape to secure and it was fairly easy to do.

You could get a temporary email address (gmail, or one of the many like........ Temp Mail - Disposable Temporary Email), use it for correspondence, then delete it when you've finished with it.

I wanted a silver or grey 507 saloon and ended up buying the same white 507 estate car as you have and love it and now glad I bought white.

Seems we’re quite similar Steve. I’m generally a black car kinda guy and my first 507 coupe was black. But as others have said before, black hides a lot of the subtle design aspects of the 507 somewhat. For me, silver is just too ‘normal’ for this era of MB, so that’s not ideal.
I ended up with white by accident as I prioritised mileage and condition over colour, now I’ve had it a while I think it’s fabulous as it’s a real contrast to the black styling feature on the 507.
