C63 AMG lease deals

If anyone is interested there is an AMG event on at MB Northampton this Sunday/Monday.

Give them a call to see if you can get on their driving list. They allow 30 mins per car, I'm not 100% sure but I think they are accompanied.

I've booked the SLS/SL and ML.

Had an email today stating that C63 lease deals are going up. Here is some of the message...

"With regards to your Mercedes-Benz enquiry, as from July 1st 2013, ALL Mercedes-Benz product has had a residual value change thus leaving an increase across the board in their contract hire rentals throughout the Mercedes dealer network and all operating leasing companies."

Anyone else know more about this???

did you have that quote mate? i've been trying freedom but they are taking an age to get back

It looks like Mercedes reached the target for C63 sale and they are increasing finance prices for the model. Their PCP deal went up by £50 per month from new quarter. Leasing deals will go up too but I don't know how much. I'm waiting for Freedom to update their deals.

Check out contracthireandleasing.com

Go to your local MB garage and see if they can match the lease deal with a PCP offer as this gives you more flexibility if you wanted to change your car before your contract ends.

Currently looking for a C63 Coupe on a 24 month personal lease after having a test drive of a C63 at my local MB Dealer. Is there anyone on here that could recommend a company who they have used and point me in the right direction. I have seen earlier on in the thread that a few people mentioned Freedom Contracts so I contacted them today and am awaiting a quote. I sat down with my MB dealer and tried to get figures close to the ones stated on this forum and he was unable to get even close? Any info and advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

I'm in the process of ordering C63 coupe.

I've got quote from Freedom Contracts which came to:
6 + 23, £3793.14 initial payment and 23 payments of £632.19. That's for standard car with no extra options. If you add extra options you can basicly divide the cost by 29 and add it to the monthly installment.

I contacted DrivetheDeal and they found me a dealer who's willing to give me a discount (on top of standard national offer - contribution to the finance). I think they also offering better APR than the one on Mercedes website because monthly payments are a bit lower than expected. Dealer can deliver the car and he can do it on Saturday in case you can't/don't want to collect it yourself.

I also contacted Carfile and they negiotated discount with another dealer but I'm waiting for the final numbers. Manager is in the meeting.

Brooklands didn't want to offer me any discount except free gap insurance which can't be worth more than £200. Dealer also mentioned that there's engine shortage and car can be delayed and arrive in April or May instead of March.

I decided to go with the dealer instead with Freedom contracts because I'd like to be registered keeper and have VC5 in my name. Difference in cost between leasing deal and dealer offer is very low after discount. I have leased car now and it's a lot of hassle if you need to order something from MB Finance and they charge for everything. I'm in the process of removing cherished reg plate and it's 2 months now and I still don't have docs to change the plate. I had to wait 4 weeks to get Vehicle on Hire cerficate and call them 3 or 4 times.

SLK was leased for commuting and it will serve me in Germany for next few months.

I just ordered C63 via dealer I was put in touch by Carfile. They offered the best discount and total cost is £50 lower than Freedom contracts deal with their £358 fee.

I highly recommend Carfile, I dealt with them before. No affiliation, just good offer.

thanks for that useful info pal... how much did you have to fork out up front for the deal? I'm in the same boat as you but swaying towards freedom as i don't have a huge cash outflow upfront and continue to earn 7-8% on the money in my investments instead.

I went for standard deposit of £6K. I paid £1000 over the phone and rest will be paid on delivery.

If you go through leasing deal I think you don't have to pay anything until delivery, except Freedom Contracts fee. That's how it worked for my SLK with different broker. MB finance took initial payment by direct debit and then monthly payments. You can say I drove my SLK for 2 weeks without paying anything for it.

Ask about delays due to engine shortage, two dealers now confirmed it.

Penelope Pitstop - Thanks for the info! Im currently waiting on a quotation back from another MB dealership sometime at the start of next week. I'll contact Carfile in the next couple of days to see what they can also offer.

Thanks

Had 2 quotes so far

When you add options to the lease you are paying for them during lease period that's why monthly instalments are coming to £759 and for no spec car are £632. So it's £127 extra per month.

Also you're comparing 48 month deal with 24 month lease, different products.

Talk to Drivethedeal, they negotiated extra £1200 discount and Carfile even bigger one. That's on top of standard dealer contribution.

Some people recommend Matt C from Poole Mercedes, he's doing some good deals as well. His full name is mentioned somewhere on PistonHeads forum.

Ouch, that is rediculous pricing! £750 a month?

Ditch the Shyte like GAP and Starguard - they are taking your trousers down.
