Yep there high to start but it's the little extras I liked and it's black the only colour I wanted as my 4 year old boy always called my SLk55 "daddy black car" so I had to buy a black one.

I had HK in my previous 330ci, Bose in an old Audi and VWs, definitely not the selling point IMO. And I love my music I'm a DJ so it's natural haha. Drive a VW transporter for work and happy as Larry with the crappy speakers in that

I didn't even think the HK was that good! I'm perfectly happy with the OEM set up, and I would consider myself an enthusiast.
Don't mess around with cowboy dealers. If they are not doing it by the book, walk away. They'll screw you over at the first opportunity they get.

Right chaps a happy ending after having a conversation with a guy in the management team they are now fitting 4 new MO tyres and completing the minor service and gearbox service.
The car had fitted on the rear a pair of Mayrun tyres wtf???
This whole episode could of been handled so much better by the dealership especially as they pride themselves on a 4.5 out of 5 customer service score.

Glad to hear you've got the result you wanted, but it's a sad reflection on the dealership's management processes that you have to engage with a member of the management team to get them to do what they should be doing anyway

To be fair if management gave sales staff authority to put tyres on and do servicing I doubt they'd make any money seeing as their aim is just to sell and earn commission.

^I'd agree with you to an extent if it weren't for the fact that the MB Approved Used scheme mandates that MO-spec tyres are fitted.

^ That was my point and to start with they were adamant that was not the case and they could fit what they like, funny that the Agility finance return docs start that tyres must be of a premium approved brand. When he said they were Mayrun he also admitted that along with me he'd never heard of them.
Thankfully there now aware of this requirement for the future but it shouldn't be up to the customer to point this out.
