C63 Missed Service

Like Aka said, all you have to do is check with MB UK. In the end I did this because I no longer trusted the particular dealer in question. MB UK did a full check and confirmed no A service was ever carried out. Glad I pulled out.

How did you get MB UK to do the full check. When I've tried it on a used car (yet to be purchased) I've hit a brick wall as they state they don't divulge any information other than to the legal owner / registered keeper.

I guess if you're buying from a franchised dealer it's easier, in my case it was an independent dealer.

Yea that's right. In my case I hd to prove that I was buying the car so I emailed them my deposit receipt from the dealer with my ID.
However you can call any Mercedes dealer in the UK and give them the Reg number of the Merc in question for them to check its history.

Any idea how the OP got on with this? I know it was donkeys ago....But i had been worried the last few days with regards to the Service book. I have a 2010 C63 and no service book. Owned the car a year now so was plannign its first service. Been told it is digitally recorded. I was sold a car with FSH. When i am back from offshore, i will be swiftly checking the Digital to check it is indeed FSH!!! Cant believe i never checked this when i picked up the car!!!

Are people dropping 10's of thousands on used high performance cars and not seeing if they have been serviced properly?

LOL.
