Stuart , i may have mentioned this before but i used to have the TtRs Plus ., For thirty odd grand ( used low mileage etc ) you get go kart handling , 0-60 in sub 4 seconds and a top end of 179 mph . Not to mention fabulous brakes and adjustable suspension . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

All true but you then need a career change ( hairdresser , nail technician etc you get the idea ) and a fashion make over to go with it.
O and not feasible if your over 5'5" tall! :)

You obviously never been in one then . Seats adjust to anyone up to about 6'2" . If you are taller than that then you are probably heavy too , so get a Range Rover .

Am allowed to throw in the word...... Maserati? Some cracking value out there across various models. Definitely has a soundtrack to match an AMG as well. I can vouch for that ;)

Run a mapped D4 as my daily to cart the bulge about love it .
I'm actually looking at an RS 6 at the moment ,not a fancy one like your brute but can't make my mind up between that and an ML63.

In an ideal world a 991 Porsche turbo S

But in a realistic world probably an Audi R8 V10 manual, Porsche 991 Carrera S or new TT M3

House is coming on slowly as we have just been to Portugal for a break. Thanks for asking though.
All systems go again next week !
When its ALL finished , including the new Driveway, that's when I will treating myself to another car to complete the overall image !:D

Is it me, or that C63 owners dare not talk about the vastly superior and much faster E63's.
lol.

No-one mentioned the vastly better handling (and even more power too..) E63-S :bannana:

And as for performance mod's on the 5.5 B-Turbo, getting almost 700bhp for very little money?

And if you start about saying "E" class is an "old mans" car, then think how you are all comparing C63's to M-Classes and what they says about you

Funny you should mention this.
Whilst I owned my C63 it felt special, mainly because I had a 507 and that's not being snobby, its just a fact. And as much as I appreciate the whole C63 AMG Thang, I felt that the longer I had mine, the more there were out there, coming onto the market, at the end of their lease periods, for very good money. Now that's a good thing when enthusiasts want to buy into that market, BUT...and its a big BUT....it also attracts the wrong kind of clientele too.........
Now I have got out of mine, and I stand here now looking in, I really appreciate the E63.....and ....I am only 48 years old !
Is it a superior car to the C63 ??.......I,ll let you decide....

You getting your free bus pass soon Steve!lol

As much as I like the C63 I think I would prefer the E63 5.5 twin turbo, as a replacement for a C63, maybe a Porsche Cayman GT4, affordable, capable, looks pretty.

How does the M5 fair up against the C63 (apart from the noise?), this was second on my list behind the M4 to buy, although i could get one a lot quicker, plus it has 4 doors so a tad more practical!

One earlier this year from miles away came to have a go (mine is Eurocharged but don't know about his) First private road I was edging slightly starting from low speeds 2nd gear. The second go from third gear I pulled a good 3-4 car lengths on him which I was surprised. He pulled to the side of me at the lights and said "what have you done to that I was giving it everything" :D

I have a guess it was standard with the performance pack stuff (No remap)

Mine is the most recent RS4 . And it would leave any C63 for dead in the real world . While your messing about getting sideways coming out of corners shredding your rear tyres , i just catapult off the apex with shed loads of grip and grin widely as i subconsciously say bye bye to you in my rear view mirror ! Lol !

Not to sound awful but they are pretty slow compared to the C63, I am sure the new one is the same engine as the previous too? which are even slow with a stage 2 supercharger.

Don't want a slanging match on here.

The C63 is more than adequate at keeping the RS4 down, even on corners if you can drive. My mapped A45 was also quicker than the RS4. The RS4 is a nice car, don't get me wrong. But, performance wise it's lacking.

See the B8 RS4 here, vs a 525bhp M3 at 6m 10s left for dead. Even a stock C63, with no PPP is quicker than the RS4.

My C63 is at 8m. Map only

Totally agree they are not quick at all, I had a stage 2+ Audi S3 around 380bhp and honestly it would leave RS4's for dead.

I have a video when I came back from Austria 2 years ago in the c63 when a stage 2 supercharged RS4 came right up my bumper trying to have a go and I left it like it was stood still, I slowed down for him and he eventually caught up

Its true though the RS4 just isn't that quick.

But they handle better than a C63 though and remember power is nothing if you cant get it down and convert it to traction the Audi does this far better than the MB due to its 4x4 and trick diff's

Do they though? They are fractionally better, not miles better. Being an Audi it also understeers like a dog.
