C63 Owners - What will you have next?

They dont . Its just journo chat .
In the real world they handle mint . THE best handling car i have driven in the last 12 months is an RS3 .

C63 was fun when i was in the mood but too edgy when i wasn't.... Other E63 owners will know what i mean. The E Class is a completely different carrage in every way (plus no rattles)

Think your mistaking handling, for grip.

That's simply not true having owned a couple these RS cars they do understeer. Badly.

Me neither Flango .
It's 'pub. ' talk by Merc owners .
The c63 has a reputation for not being able to get its power down , now that is true !

Every time i tried to chase another marque coming out of corners , i was losing the back , hence losing forward motion ...

Was your C63 fitted with a diff Steve?

As an aside, this Audi v MB nonsense is getting silly. Both brands make superb cars. It seems some can't appreciate another brand these days:doh:

Yes , eventually i fitted a quaife . It improved it quite a lot , but I still prefer Audi 's quattto system .
You are right , Audi , MB and BMW all make fabulous cars . It is purely personal choice based on driving style , habit and experience .

Mercedes could do with getting the C63 equipped with 4wd. They fitted it to the LHD E63's but due to the steering rack couldn't fit it on our RHD. It must make a huge difference at speed.

I just find it reassuring . Especially with a torquey car , when you are on and off the throttle and shifting the weight and balance .

There's only 2 makes of cars is the Mercedes Benz and the others...

So.. into my fourth week of owning my C63 and i have to say, i blinking love it. I have found absolutely bloody any excuse to drive it, ive been through a petrol tankers worth of fuel, washed it about 10 times and it still puts a smile on my face everytime i look at it and, makes me giggle like a school girl when giving it welly.

The car will be with me for a long time as its basically my 'realistic dream car'. However im just curious - current C63 owners, what will you be replacing yours with? and If you are a previous C63 owner what did you choose?

i ask because i feel a saloon with junior supercar performance seems very hard to replicate, unless of course you go for another super saloon!

only thing i can see a current owner getting tired of is the fuel bill..?

Irfan

While keeping my 63 I just bought a w218 cls 63 amg.

What happened to the CL 65? Didn't chicken out did you?

They're rare as hens theet mate I still got my eye out there and if a decent one pops for realistic money I'll buy it.
