I can drool over one any time ... there is one in my underground garage. Dark grey with deep red leather. Quite a small car size wise.

Well done Maff, I was looking at a Vantage on holiday in Scotland and thought it was simply gorgeous. I look forward to the next GTG. When do you take delivery?

Bit disappointed that it does not come with Xenon headlights though, but of an expensive car to have halogen lights these days.

I have an idea to help you out with the depreciation. We'll pay you a fee to drive the car when you are not using it. You know it makes sense!!! Good choice indeed.

At 3am this morning the ultimate modification idea came to me, cheap and VERY impressive!!! Don't pull out this fuse, simply wire it into a very nice switch :bannana: :bannana: Subtle when subtle is required and when is required.

You know it makes sense.... My car noisy??? certainly not officer.

After a year long love hate relationship (I loved the car but hated its breakdowns and depreciation) I have now gone all sensible and sold it today.

I will be sad to see it go, as its a great piece of engineering, and such a fast car with so much power that almost nothing else can touch, and had some very memorable experiences with the car at Bruntingthorpe and in Germany.

The painful bit was the price.... I sold for £62,000, one year on after I paid £100,000 for it, equal to £3166 per month in depreciation!!

On the plus side this weekend the following arrives ready for approx one year's service (based on average time of me keeping a car!):

Will be interesting to see how they compare, and how it goes.

The only consolation for you on that eye watering depreciation is that the original owner must have lost even more money and in a much shorter time.

Overall depreciation on your CL65 since new is of the order of £90k. Now that's depreciation.

Sure you'll be OK with 302lb ft of torque ? Can the power be chipped up at all ?

Don't want to offend, but how about BUYING a year old car and saving lots of money and pain.
Edit:- I wonder how much the dealer will try to sell it for.....
