Cost for replacing CLK anti roll bar and bushes

MB Stockport just quoted me 800 notes to do this.

Is this reasonable or for a job like this should I try an Indi?

Get an eibach one and the poly bushes. Much cheaper option.

nope - go to an indy - not a big job.

I had all 4 front suspension links and bushes replaced for about £500 last year after MB quoted just under £700

The bushes and drop links are only about £40. That's an expensive bar!!!

Any local garage should be able to replace the anti roll bar and bushes - why both by the way and not just the bushes? Buy the genuine MB parts and then get your local garage to fit, probably an hour or max two labour.

remember it may be a bit differeent as yours is an AMG.

Yes a lot different as my job was for upper and lower arms (2 each side) and probably about 8 bushes but i'm not expert.

ARB's usually have 4 bushes IIRC but a single larger part for the bar

It is probably worn out. They get rusty and slide about. I have seen them snapon 203's
