sometimes MB just over do it with boot badges. Each to their own, but the likes of "GL420 CDI.......4Matic, S350 CDI......Bluetech, " is a little over kill for my liking. I could live with one on the left, but both sides? Nah...too much story going on! This not to mentioned the wing badges like Kompressor and Blue efficiency.

The single exhaust, skinny wheels (or fat aftermarket ones) and too often the unfaded outline of the original badges led a clue.
The replacement and unevenly stuck on ebay AMG badge simply adds value for observers.

I indicatively think 'no badging = base model'. Whether thats true or not thats what I think. Have to say though that as mentioned it is usually cars with small single exhausts and skinny tyres that are debadged.
