Detailing a Lexus IS F

Today I was persuaded to detail a car other than my own. It was a low mileage Lexus IS F.

The specification of the car is:
Engine Type Dual VVT-i (VVT-ie at intake)
Fuel type Petrol
Capacity (cc) 4969
Valve mechanism Dual VVT-I (VVT-iE at intake)
Cylinder/Valves V8/32
Maximum output (kW / DIN hp @ rpm) 311/417@6600
Maximum torque (Nm@rpm) 505@5200

The Performance figures are:
Maximum Speed mph (km/h) 168 (270.4)
Acceleration 0-62 mph (s) 4.8


Detailing Job List

1. Wash 1. Power wash (revolving setting so that jet doesn’t settle on one place)
2. Wash 2. Hand wash and Shampoo.
3. Wash 3. Power wash.
4. Towel Dry and leave to evaporate dry.
5. Power Wash Wheels and wheel arches.
6. Treat with Wheel Shine brake dust remover.
7. Power Wash Wheels
8. Towel wheels
9. Black Tyres coat 1 leave to dry.
10. Degrease inside glass.
11. Towel interior
12. Treat marks or scuffs.
13. Hoover inside
14. Mats and Boots hoovered.
15. Door frames and shuts cleaned and detailed with Demon Shine.
16. Wet towel paintwork.
17. Polish and or wax alloys dependent on condition.
18. Tyre black coat 2.
19. Appraise paint.
20. Cray/treat scratches and prepare paintwork.
21. Apply Detailing Polish over all painted surfaces.
22. Dry Polish.
23. Wet Polish.
24. Dry polish
25. Check

Just polishes. I've never used a sealant! (I'm just a hobbyist!)
 
How long did it take in total and.....

why are you using garage forcourt gloves? No wonder they're always empty.
 
someone has been going on detailingworld too much,cotton buds!
 
You can either come to visit me or we can do it at the gtg.
