I've only used Shell Nitro V-Power for the last 30K and had no issues
had to use BP Ultimate when not been able to get V-Power

Well it seems your car is a little sooted up,no matter what cleaner you buy use the whole bottle in about a quarter of a tank of fuel,and give it plenty off wellie I used it and very early morning ran around a industrial estate polluting the whole world,then after the black smoke went I filled up with fuel and everything was great,I now use a 300ml of synthetic two stroke all with nearly every fill up,helps to lubricate things a little.

I had a load of issues with Morrisons fuel in a Saab 9-3 TTiD

never again !

Another fan of Miller's here you can buy direct in 5 litre cans from the refinery/factory which makes it about a third of the price of the 500ml retail bottle

This thread inspired me to order a bottle of Millers to try out on our 2nd car (Renault 1.5 dCi) which has been slowly losing MPG over the summer. If it works then I will try it in the CLS.

Ordered on Thursday (Ebay - Opie oils) and received this morning. Will top off the tank later today and try it out.

don't expect instant results , it says around 200 miles before its well mixed with the fuel , unless of course you tip a full bottle in - all that cetane booster whoooooo !!!! car be like on steroids .

It's in now - Probably about 25% extra dose. I guess it will take a while to see any difference. If it improves things in the Renault then it will go into the CLS.

Update - Gone through one tankful and I would say it is a success. Quieter running and 10% greater mpg.

Just a word of caution
I think it can be more trouble than it's worth on high mileage engines as some of the carbon/gunk is holding things together or injector seals can start leaking (I have been there)
Just my two pence worth
