Hi, I have had a few enquiries and some slagging off regarding my custom dual exhaust quad pipe system that the stainless steel tips stick out to much. I took some piccy's today on account of it being rather nice and from the top of the car looking down they only stick out a bit from the bumper but from the side look odd. I suppose my question is, is this down to the AMG bumper? perhaps a C55 owner could shed some light.

It doesn't look excessive to me, perhaps a little more pronounced than AMG's system but certainly not worth any slagging off.

Thanks for that. Like your new sports. Had i known you were doing that you could have had the one the box and pipe of my C200K Sport all it needed was a good clean.

I didn't realise you had quad exhausts. Look great IMHO

Not mine , a friends ....

The outer ones sit inwards a little bit ( 5mm ish ) following the curve of the rear of the car ...

Thanks, had the system custom built few weeks ago by Longlife Exhausts in Plymouth. They will also be fitting my Kleeman header and cat. Take their time and impressed with their quality of service.

Cheers. I'm pleased with the Sport pack exhaust it looks cool IMHO.

Thanks Howard. Yup, think mine could have gone in a few mm, but it's a mod, and of course i don't want to upset C55 owners had i got a tape measure and got it exact.

I think it looks nice mate , really good !

I think the whole car looks stunning. The exhaust looks good to me. Its something I was considering in a few months time when Ive got some other bits & bobs sorted. I had one custom made by www.exhaustsuk.co.uk in Sheffield for my Porsche. I was just concerned about the noise though as I would want it as quiet as standard if possible.

Hi slippy. Longlife do a good selection of mufflers, and really took their time (the branch in Plymouth) in getting the sound i wanted. As i said earlier mine is deeper rather than loud and i don't suffer 'drone' on motorway drives.

I think they look great, did you have to cut the bumper to fit them?
It looks like a really clean cut if you did.

Hi Russ, yes, the young guy (only 19 yrs)who did my car really took his time in matching up the cut-outs, the pipes and tips. Originally my car had the one cut-out for the sports package exhaust. He did such a good job i gave him a £20 tip.
