Did you speak to MSL and inform them of the supposed issue before you posted on here?

IMO the sign of a good garage is how they deal with mistakes, and the sign of an idiot customer is one who comes onto a forum to slag them off without having contacted the company in question to see if there is an issue, and a solution.

This is doubly confusing in your case where you say you have been a happy customer of theirs for many years, so why on earth would you not call them up as soon as you suspected an issue?

The noise has stopped.
lets leave it at that .
The one thing that i do hate is when there is denial of the obvious... for sure it was and so let assume its a normal reaction.

I will try to get a picture of the hose and maybe that will assure you that its NOT SPLIT. But a CUT. thats the worst bit !! one property is NOT anothers ..and so should be respected.

You did'nt answer my question.

Did you have the pipe inspected under a microscope by an expert?

Can I see a picture of the split pipe? I would bet very good money on the fact that it has split in normal use. They do that. We replace loads of them for splitting.

BLACK: it doesnt take an expert to see .. a hose which has "split" or it has been cut.
Im sure youll agree that a split is normally due to fatigue and since there is pressure in the system its the continued expansion and contraction which causes failure !! ..oh and yes I work for a materials testing company. ONE more point ! the fatigue points are clear on a hose like that !! ... and the cut was NOT along any of those. CLEAR ??

Your writing style/poor grammar/punctuation doesn't match your declared occupation.

I suspect you have another agenda.

I have to totally agree with olly.

These hoses are very prone to splitting and when you look at them they look like they have been cut.

I really dont believe Acid or his team would do this, the hose takes a few minutes to fit and more than likely wouldnt charge any labour if they were doing a service for example.

Would the mercedes dealer be willing to put that in writing to you saying that the hose has been definetly cut and not split. I doubt it very much

Then you are an idiot !

So lets get this right, you hijack an unrelated thread, you fail to contact the company that allegedly did your work, not content with this you liable the company on a public forum, still not happy with this you then abuse other members, I think I speak for most if you have a problem with any garage take it up with them, no one here is interested, you are out not only to damage the MSL reputation, but clearly have some sort of bizarre axe to grind. no one is interested in your accusations so do one !! Failing that let's hope your at least get banned.

Wow........Jesus Christ I F'ing hate forums for exactly this reason......

A place for the uneducated and uninformed to wage bizarre crusades against vendors and companies without the need to leave their keyboards.....:wallbash:

Simple matter of fact if you have a problem just speak to the vendor give them a chance to rectify or resolve if needed.... If your still not happy then crack on tell the world....

We had a customer that in his opinion wasn't 100% happy with something we did......do you know what he did? He picked up the phone.....actually spoke words of English that made sense.....and we resolved his issue...

Aslamm can you please answer the following for me

When was this work carried out and What garage was it done at

MSL Armoury Road or MSL Stratford Road?

And Last question Did you contact MSL about your problems ? As i am VERY confused that i have not heard of you before?

Wsalam Acid

Aslamm, I have a problem with a company that did some work for me a number of years ago. The installation should not have failed but did do last week.

I contacted them and gave them the opportunity to rectify the problem. They have been and inspected the work and are in the process of rectifying it.

Only if they don't rectify the situation will I begin to post their details on here. Whilst their poor workmanship has caused me inconvenience I need to give them the opportunity to make good.

Don't you think that is the right thing to do rather than shoot first and ask questions later?

He looked in at 8.10am this morning so it's not as if he hasn't seen your more than kind post.
