E55 Estate on ebay

Check out is history. Obviously a doorstep trader.

£500 cheap bottom half re-spray. By the time the rust comes back through he'll be well gone!

Because it states this in the advert

“This car is in amazing condition, its obviously been garaged all its life as the body work still looks bright and the interior is unmarked.”

If it was repaired properly I would have thought they would highlight the fact rather than hide it?

E55 warning

Was going to put a warning up myself but found this thread, I agree that the first eBay advert does not correspond at all with the second one, I have put them all together in a gallery, make your own judgement, it went on eBay on 22 November 2014 for £ 1751.00, and it says it is advertised on Auto Trader for £ 3300.00, but can not find any advert for it. Will give the new buyer / owner of this W210 E55 a very bad experience for this model X908YDY - Mercedes W210 E55 :(:(:(

It just went for £ 2700.00 on eBay, maybe we see it back again soon. In the past I was after an E36 W210 on LPG, one and the same was advertised under different sellers on eBay for more then a year and Gumtree, as far as I know it is still not sold and I am very happy with the E55 W210 I bought in the end ;-)

I'm not surprised; I loved mine too. The W211 E55 is in a different league performance-wise, but I wouldn't find it any great hardship to go back to a W210 - if I could find another one that was equally not rusty.

To be fair, the 'Car & Classic UK' ad does say that a lot of attention is needed to the bodywork, so that's honest enough. The Ebay ad appears to refer to a different car....

If you look carefully you will also note the AMG steering wheel and airbag have also been swapped out for standard ones !

Good spot. I'd be ****** off if I bought it and didn't notice at first!

So would I, he probably figured its worth a few bob separately. I wonder what else he may have swapped or skimped on

Or it's been in an accident, gone off and had an original in it's place

I decided when the times come I will only buy from a member here on the classified page

I'm interested in buying one if a member has one for sale. Thanks Colin

You missed out that was sids sown car.

Facelift car going for £1600 was dirt cheap even with the mileage.

My E55 is back up for sale after an extended family turned up ,went for a joyride all 4 of them ,inspected the car tried to make an offer at which point i shut the bonnet and went inside.

Hello Sid
