finding a telephone number

is there any way of finding somebodys home number, just want to ask the previous owner a question, normaly a bill is left in the car but nothing just have his name and address on log book,

BT site will let you put in a search based on name and address.

BT and use residential.

Google the name and address, you might get lucky.

If its not available from directory enquiries (or whatever they call themselves now) then its either ex-directory or he doesn't have a phone.

As you have his name and address, why not simply do the old-fashioned thing and write a letter?
Not forgeting to include an SAE for the reply...............
