Fog lamp connector - 2001 E200K

Does anyone know the part number for the electrical connector which goes on the halogen (single contact) bulb for the front fog lamps or where I would get one. My one is fried and I cannot physically get it off, it is welded to the bulb spade connector. There are two wires going to the connector but only one contact on the bulb. It essentialy connects the positive to the bulb and the negative to the flat plate on the bulb.

Two dealers have told me they dont have them - I just dont think they are interested to be honest. One asked for chassis number etc but them said part not listed.

Motor factors say main dealer part. It does look a bit special

It probably comes with the loom.

Cut it off and use another connector. I know the one you are talking about and it is pretty typical for the connector to corrode and stick on. Use penetrant to loosen it.

If I cut it off and put two connectors on the wires going to the existing connector, I can connect the positive to the bulb but do I just ground the other wire.
