Formula 1, Moto GP, WSB, 2021 Season

Which countries do you think should have one?

The ones that already have race tracks. 😀

I'd rather say who shouldn't and for me that's Abu Dhabi & Saudi to start with.

If the drivers that talk the bull of equality really wanted to make a difference imagine if they refused to race in for example Saudi, would be global news.
But that may hurt their pay cheque and championship standing. 😉

A very simplistic view but I am a simple person.

Just when you thought stupid was taking a step back 🙄😵‍💫🤪
This is the FIA we’re talking about. There’s been some very silly sh!t from them over the years.

- Senna was robbed of a victory in a Toleman at Monaco in the rain when Jean Marie Balestre was in charge. Race was stopped early, securing a victory for Alain Prost.
- Another one affecting Senna was in Suzuka where they put pole position on the dirty side of the circuit, which Senna was furious about and famously went on to take Prost out in Turn 1. Mssr Balestre again I think.

What reason did Masi give for okaying Verstappen passing under the safety car? After all, Hamilton was disqualified for 0.2mm.
Again, highlighting the difference between the technical regulations which have teeth and the sporting regulations which seemingly don’t (when it suits the wider agenda).

Well rules is rules after all… 🙄
The FIA seem to think that their primary mission is to redefine the expression "tin-eared"

I can honestly see them losing both LH and Mercedes from F1 if they persist in their nonsensical attitude.

While it's true to say that no individual is bigger than the sport, the reputational damage they're doing is massive. Why on earth would Daimler (and other brands) want to be associated with what is increasingly looking to be a dysfunctional cowboy outfit?

Or have been the source of F1 drivers, contributed to the development of the motor car or in any way at all contributed to motoring and motorsport. Scotland for all its size once had a car maker, contributed an engine design that was of use to the world, provided two multiple WDC drivers and many more with varying degrees of success and it doesn't even have its own race.

Contributed nothing but exploit F1 to burnish their despotic regimes to appear acceptable to the outside world.

And hurt sales of the teams and their sponsors' products in said countries? Is this why all the attention is being focused on the FIA despite throwing the race being well above Masi's pay grade?

At least you are questioning why we are handing a sport created and nurtured in democratic countries in which victory is earned to despots who value only unearned power and control.

Does that mean we can add Execution , stoning and summary amputation to time/grid penalties and point deductions to the punishments the FIA can hand down (hand down ...see what I did there 👐🪓 ? ) to teams and drivers in 2022 ?

Sounds like VAG are serious about a F1 entry with Audi for 2026.

Given his abilities and attitude on track MV would be a very appropriate driver and brand representative for Audi.

That said - it seems like we have had rumblings of VAG or Porsrche getting close entering F1 for the last 10 to 15 years.

Very oddly - reports say they specifically congratulated Jean Todt / FIA on the fair conclusion of the last lap of the last race of the season. If true then that also sounds like with VAG's attitude to gaming the diesel emissions measurements and FIA's attitude to the gaming their own regulations that the two organisations would also make a very appropriate match for each other.

I don't think their participation would bring anything to the sport; you'd get 50 odd laps of the Audis stuck to the rear bumper of the car in front with their headlights on.

And still no need to fit indicators to the cars…
